Ever since I can remember, I have been a dreamer, used to living in my self-created world.

I grew up and was nourished by poetry, literature and painting.

Literature gave me an intense sensual experience and little by little I learned to give meaning to many images and feelings.

Born in Iran in 1989, Mehraneh Jandaghi began her artistic journey at a young age, attending art academies and immersing herself in poetry and storytelling. She began her career as an illustrator while studying graphic design at university and has since worked on numerous publications and authored 40 books using various artistic techniques. With over a decade of teaching experience in graphic design, illustration and fine arts, Mehraneh has honed her skills in traditional and digital methods. She currently teaches digital painting, conducts workshops, and offers online courses while working as an art director at a cultural institution. Her latest book, “Daddy’s Hand,” which she both wrote and illustrated, is awaiting publication. Mehraneh’s current focus is on developing creative pedagogical methods for visual arts education, organizing online educational webinars, advancing graphic projects, and expanding her knowledge and skills in visual arts and pedagogical methods.
